Story
My mum was a force of nature. She was the most selfless and thoughtful person I have ever met. Sadly, in January of this year she was diagnosed with cancer. 10 weeks later we lost her after the bravest and most dignified fight I have ever witnessed.
Her last hours were spent at the Foyle Hospice in Derry and the care they gave Mammy was phenomenal. They allowed her last hours to be calm and peaceful.
On 30th June, I'm heading off with two wonderful friends Helen & Sharon to hike 22 miles across the beautiful Jurassic Coast from Weymouth to Corfe Castle. While the walk is primarily for MacMillan, I wanted to give an extra push to raise some money for those Angels... because that's what they are, at Foyle Hospice.
So please, dig deep, it's a wonderful cause, a great asset to the North West of Ireland.
Many thanks
Ciara
