After adopting 3 ex battery hens, I’ve seen first hand the damage, torment, and suffering these wonderful, amazing little creatures have to endure for human pleasure.

In 2018, why are animals still abused just to feed us?? How is that right??

The hens have no freedom, no daylight, no life, and are worked to the bone just for us to have eggs and meat. This breaks my heart in two. These little feathered beasts are amazing, and every hen deserves a chance to be free.

So I became a huge supporter of the British Hen Welfare Trust, (bhwt) whose mission is solely to give every battery Hen a chance to be free and enjoy their retirement, rather than face the slaughter house.
