Story
Racing Welfare are experiencing a significant drop in income as fundraising events and activities have had to be cancelled and with no idea when they might be able to start them up again. They are therefore looking at a loss of fundraising income in 2020 of around £500,000 at the present time.
Has all my friends and family know , I’ve had an extremely challenging time in the last 3 years of my life . Too loose both parents through lung cancer in the space of 6 months was devastating and something I will never recovery from but, just learn to live with .
Loosing both Mum and Dad had a massive impact on my mental well being and through the help of Racing Welfare I received numerous counselling sessions that helped me get through the initial heart ache .
I’m not looking for sympathy, I’m just looking to help repay Racing Welfare in some way for the help they gave me .
So here’s the plan !!
Between the three of us our goal is to run 111miles in 24 hrs . Why did we pick 111 miles ? Has we are all part of “ Team Green “AKA Juddmonte Farms , 111 is the current amount of group / grade1 winners that the company has had in total . If this goes up in the meantime so does our goal !!
Speed is not the key but endurance will be a massive factor . I know times are hard for everyone , but I can truly say if it wasn’t for Racing Welfare I’m not sure I’d know where I’d be right now !!
Too all of you who donate to our Team , thank you so much and everything is greatly appreciated !!
STAY SAFE
