Story

Christopher was a very happy little boy, he had big brown eyes and a lovely smile. He loved feeding ducks and horses, watching the bin men collecting the rubbish. He liked to dance and sing and watch Pingu on the television.

Christopher was born in February 1991, he was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia when he was just three months old.  He started on a regime of chemotherapy but spent a month in intensive care on a ventilator when he developed pneumonia. He recovered, had more chemo and eventually had a bone marrow transplant in December, spending his first Christmas in isolation. He enjoyed some time at home and became a big brother to Richard before relapsing in the Summer of 1992. He was very ill for some time but made a remarkable recovery. Sadly just after his second birthday he relapsed again and passed away in April 1993
