Story

Before my MND Diagnosis in 2017 I tried every year for a ballot place in the London Marathon without success. I thought my chance had gone but thanks to a change in the rules last year to allow assisted wheelchairs and success in the ballot (at last) I will be on the start line on 23rd April.

I have the help of 4 volunteers who have the unenviable task of pushing me round the 26 miles while I sit off enjoying the sights and eating snacks.

We are raising funds for Darby Rimmer MND Foundation and MNDA Wirral Group who have both supported me over the last six years
