Story
On the 10th June 2010 three students from the , George Prevett, Matt Dimond and Christopher tebay, will be embarking on an endurance bike ride in aid of charity, as already committed rowers we enjoy a challenge but this is an adventure with an all important cause.
This mammoth journey will start from () and finish in () the finish line will be a war memorial in (Maison Dieu House, Biggin st) this memorial is of a figure of youth, symbolic of self-sacrifice and devotion suggesting triumph of the spirit over bodily suffering. This challenge is roughly about 850 miles and will require a huge amount of training and preparation. We plan to cover 60 miles a day riding four days on with one days rest: this should take us about 18 days. We will be self sufficient on this trip carrying light weight camping, providing basic comfort for resting and replenishing energy levels. small amounts of basic food will be taken, making neccessary purchases along the way.
