With no formal qualifications I went to Prisoners' Education Trust to fund an Open University Course in Psychology.

They funded 4 years of my Psychology Diploma. On release I used this education along with other qualifications in Teaching, Personal Development and Advice & Guidance to start Social Enterprise www.syrusconsultancy.com delivering creative youth services and personal development courses to young people at risk.

With a music studio base in Croydon, Syrus Consultancy CIC is 15 years old and has worked with 1000's of young people. 

I'm honoured to give back and raise money for this charity. The funding had a massive impact on my self belief, my prison sentence was transformed into a university experience and gave me the tools to do what I'm doing now.
