Story
In April 2019 I ran the London Marathon in memory of my wife Angela. Which was one of the most crazy and emotional things that I've ever done. But also one of the most rewarding.
So when I was asked again if I'd run for Macmillan in 2020 I jumped at the chance but sadly that wasn't to be. But I'm lucky as now I get to run in 2021 as part of Team Macmillan while they are the official charity of The London Marathon.
Macmillan have given so much continuing support to me and more importantly my son Jack to help him after losing his mummy at the at the age of 8. He's 10 now and he's as happy and as cheeky as a 10 year old should be. This is in part to the fantastic support that he's had from the Macmillan Family Support Team at Ipswich Hospital. They have always been there and also invited him to events and arranged art therapy at his school.
So I'm hoping that I can raise as much money as possible for Macmillan who have helped our family but also that Funds important services at Ipswich Hospital and still supports Jack after losing his mummy.
For the last marathon I managed to raise nearly £8,000 which was absolutely unbelievable. My aim if possible is to see if I can get to the amazing total of £10,000 over the two Marathons.
So please if you are able to help by donating I will be forever grateful.
Many Thanks
