Firstly, Thank you to all who have already donated, Paddy and Chas.  Most importantly Kay Longbottom who kindly donated his time and made the cut go so well.

I have been growing my hair for 5 years now, and I have now had a slight change!  I was given a hair cut in Lourdes by Kay Longbottom, on the last night of this year's Pilgrimage (3rd of August).  This year was my 5th year on the Lourdes Pilgrimage with the Diocese of Arundel and Brighton.  The Pilgrimage and especially the people who are involved with it have come close to my heart.  Due to this, when I decided to get a new hair style, I chose to raise money for the Lourdes Sick Fund, and let you decide on the new style.  The hair I lost will be going to a Charity where they create wigs for children undergoing Chemotherapy.  I had all of it chopped off!

The Lourdes Sick Fund is an amazing charity, helping to finance sick people's pilgrimages where they would otherwise be unable to attend.  This is sometimes the only trip some people get all year, but it is definitely the best they could have.  Especially now the Euro is stronger against the Pound, the costs to stay in the South of France have risen by a fair amount, so money is needed more than ever.
