For some reason which escapes me now I decided last Autumn to cycle from London to Paris in the Spring, a distance of over 200 miles. On April 27th, I'm going with a small group of friends and although we're not planning to break any records, I thought it would be a good opportunity to raise some money for the British Heart Foundation who do a lot to raise money for their excellent work by organising cycling events.
