Myself,  my big brother Kevin,  and a select few close friends are all donning the lycra in July and making the daunting 300 mile trip from  London to Paris by bike.  The reason for doing this is very simple,  Dad played a huge part in our lives,  and was an inspiration not only to us,  but to many people he met in his life.  He very sadly lost the battle to the big "C" last year after a very short and sudden diagnosis to the illness. 

We decided we should do something to remember his life,  and raise as much money as possible along the way for a good cause.  As many of you will know,  Dad was a farmer through and through,  and lived and breathed the industry for over 60 years.  We have therefore decided to chose the  "Farming Community Network" as our chosen charity.  This charity helps members of the farming community who,  for numerous reasons, are in need of help and support to see them through troubled times.  Throughout his life,  Dad was able to help numerous families in need,  so I think he would be very proud of Kevin and I to raise money for such a good cause.

So I would ask you all to share this with as many friends and family as you can,  and help us raise as much as possible.  Every pound raised will give us the push we need for the next mile in the saddle.
