Thanks for taking the time to visit my Pedal to Paris page.

So I'm cycling to Paris for the British Legion.  But why am I doing it? Why am I bothering you with a request to pledge some of your money to help?

The work that the British Legion do is well known. It has been there to help soldiers and their families to pick up the pieces after having been to war for nearly 100 years.

For me I would like to raise money to help the work that the British Legion are doing to treat those who have been affected by post traumatic stress after battle. The effects of trauma can take a lot of time and care to treat. However without treatment, the effects of war traumas can travel through generations. I would like to think that any money that you donate will continue to do good to families in many years from now. Think of each pound as a seed which will continue growing many years from now.
