Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I don't have any direct connection to our Armed Forces but my grandfather served as a Royal Navy Chaplin during the Second World War and my wife's grandfather and father both served in the British Armed Forces in various parts of the world. I hope that all three will be riding on my shoulders spurring me towards the finish line - hopefully I won't need too much divine intervention. 

These are difficult times and so to the extent I can make a very small difference to a charity that supports a service so integral to the fabric of our society, then that should be enough impetus to complete the 42 odd kms (with a little push from above :)
