Story
I'm raising funds for Ariana Smiles. Our beautiful girl was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia on 1 November 2020 and since then our family has been fighting with her to ensure she has a full and happy life.
Children's cancer treatment and research is woefully funded - less than 4% of all funding goes specifically towards finding and administering cures, yet it is the NUMBER ONE cause of death amongst children in the UK. We can and must do better!
September is Childhood Cancer Awareness Month. Please help us to raise awareness and funds so that we can work towards a better level of funding and treatment for young people touched by this disease. Ariana, like most people, is afraid of needles but has had to get over that in the past 2 years. I am afraid of heights so I'm jumping out of a plane. Simple!
