As most who visit this page will know I am a keen diver and quite keen on looking after the Ocean as it is one of the biggest ecosystems on the planet. I have been down to 40 metres and you can see man's effect even at that depth. Even in the Maldives, Lyn and I visited a desert island it was littered with junk. More and more needs to be done to protect this precious environment, and that is the main aim of  Project Aware an organisation set up by the Professional Association of Diving Instructors (PADI).
