WE HAVE SWUM THE CHANNEL (!) in memory of our father, and as an example to his grandchildren, including Kev's wonderful daughter, our magnificent nieces, nephews and Godchildren; to show that even the worst of moments can lead to positive change and development.

THANK YOU TO THE KINDNESS AND CARE OF FRIENDS, FAMILY, COLLEAGUES AND CLIENTS, WE ARE BEYOND BELIEF AND GRATITUDE TO HAVE EXCEEDED OUR OUTLANDISH TARGET:  THE AMOUNT COMMEMORATES THE DATE THAT WE LAID DAD TO REST, 6/6/22.

EVERY £1 (€,$, &c.) WE RAISE STILL COUNTS AND WE CONTINUE, GRATEFULLY,  FUNDRAISING!

Spinal injury and illness has also affected our family - our mother and sister have had spinal fusions and our paternal grandmother was paralysed by an accident - so supporting Aspire is a great and simple choice for us.

Thank you for all of your generosity - this has been a gruelling task, through ice swims and bone-chilling coldness to waves pelting us in the face and jellyfish stings.  However, this has proved an utterly humbling and wonderful achievement - a fantastic way to remember & pay tribute to Dad.
