In October 2021, our Dad, Darran Gunter, aged 55, passed away after a long battle with cancer. Dad was nothing but an inspiration, fighter, and our hero. Myself (Rhys) and my brother, David, will be doing this year’s Weymouth Harbour Christmas Day swim in memory of our Dad. This will be our first attempt at raising money in Dad's memory. 

Having attended the Christmas Day swim as a spectator every year with our Dad, this will be a huge (and cold!) challenge for us to now get in the water and raise money. 

We're raising money for Weldmar Hospicecare, which provides specialist end of life care for people living in Dorset. This charity provided outstanding care for my Dad and on-going support to all of us as a family.
