Story
Hi all,
Joshua has Cerebral Palsy and currently receives valuable therapy from The National Institute of Conductive Education. It provides a specialist and innovative method of teaching people with movement disabilities the skills that they need to control their bodies, overcoming the problems that their disability can cause them in everyday life.
We are planning on organising a number of fundraising events over the next 18 months in order to help raise funding and awareness for Conductive Education. Your support would be much appreciated.
I have seen first hand the benefits of Conductive Education and the hope that it gives Joshua's family.
The Pink Punks will also be doing the10km Race on 27th September 2009 at Cannon Hill Park. Please contact me if you wish to take part and I will send you an Entry Form.
Neil started his sponsored Loose 3 stone in 3 months fundraiser on 1st May, weighing 17 st 5Ibs. His final weigh in was 14st 5lbs - how fantansic. Neil worked really hard to acheive his target weight, this involved a lot of exercise, healthy eating (no Beer & Baltis) and a lot of determination. Well Done!
The Body Shop Party in June was a great success and I want to thank everyone who offered support. A second party will be arranged in October/November - an ideal opportunity to purchase Christmas Presents and raise money for a worth while charity.
***Conductive Education has an online shop www.buy.at/fcecharity which provides a link to many of the biggest high street and internet retailers. Thanks for visiting my fundraising page.
Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: The Foundation for Conductive Education gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.
