Ok, I know I look a nerd in the helmet but at least I'm smiling and the padded shorts don't help!

7 months ago I smoked 30 ciggies a day, did no excercise and loved a bowl of Ben & Jerries, but Lin and Lizzie have taken me in hand and put me through a ruthless training programme during the deep winter months.  Here you see before you a sylph like figure, with rippling muscles and stamina in abundance who doesn't quite yet grasp the gravity of her age and exactly what 300km looks like but hey, I love a challenge!
