I have a special birthday this year and rather than giving me presents I would love it if you could make a donation to my favourite charity British Stammering Association. They have helped me so much over the years, introducing me to the stammering community and indeed to my partner Allan. I’ve helped to organise events that I would never have had the courage to do anywhere else. They provide support for all of us who stammer and help us to build our confidence socially and in the workplace. They also help children who stammer and their parents. Many parents, who know nothing about stammering before their child begins to stammer, are so grateful they have someone to turn to. And of course they have a lovely new website (Allan is the webmaster)
