Tim and I were married on 30th May 1986 and he passed away from MND on 30th May 2009 at the age of 49.He was brave and smiling until the end.

After he was diagnosed we did lots of fundraising together.  Tim  personally raised awareness with the media and politicians. He campaigned for Dignity In Dying.

Tim was a very fit and active man. He loved hill walking and the great outdoors especially the challenge of going above the clouds. I think of him as being there now.

I joined him in ‘easy’ walks but I couldn’t keep up on the hills and often left him to it and arranged to meet up afterwards. So this trek up Poon Hill is a challenge for me and I hope you will support me by encouraging me and following me in the next 12 months as i prepare for the adventure. If you would share this story and make a donation that would be wonderful.

Thank you. X
