Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

Event date: 30 May 2021

10 years after the would-be captain and her first-mate (Christine and Jeanette!) completed our sailing challenge for Mum's 10th Anniversary ... we are fundraising again for the Wisdom Hospice!

Mum was cared for by the amazing team at the Wisdom Hospice and 2021 marks 20 years since Mum lost her brave battle to cancer. To celebrate Mum's beautiful memory, her milestone anniversary and to thank the Wisdom Hospice for their support and compassion, we are embarking on an epic Archery Battle: Team Dog versus Team Cat!

Using 20 arrows each and shooting at a target 10 metres away, Christine and Jeanette will compete to see who can score the highest points total! We will be dressed-up to undertake this challenge:

Team Dog: Jeanette!                          Team Cat: Christine!

We are asking family and friends to donate money in support of whether Team Dog or Team Cat will win the competition! Our challenge will be judged by an independent onlooker - a local vicar and our efforts will be photographed!

Please help support the awesome work of the Wisdom Hospice by sponsoring our challenge.

Who will win? Team Dog? Team Cat?

When making your donation please let us know your favourite to take the title of the Archery Competition - comment on our page!

We will post updates of the Dog and Cat in training and pictures of our glorious battle as paws and fur meet!

Training and equipment kindly provided by: www.discoverarchery.co.uk
