Thank you for looking at my page.
As most of you know I underwent an emergency liver transplant in June 2015. It was a huge shock as I had only been poorly for a short while.
I had been on holiday a few weeks before my transplant and despite feeling awful I had a go at archery and loved it. After my transplant my husband mentioned that he had read about the Transplant Games and that archery was one of the events. I decided there and then that I would take up archery when I was well enough. That came six months later and I’ve not looked back. I’ve competed in three British Transplant Games winning medals in two.
Well I have now been selected for archery in the World Transplant Games which is being held in Newcastle next year.
The games raise awareness of organ donation.

I am raising funds to cover my expenses associated with attending The World Transplant Games 2019 in Newcastle. Any surplus funds with go towards the Transplant Sport UK Management Team (including physics and coaches) who give up their time to support the team.
