Christine is 60 and John is taking Semi Retirement so we decided to have a party with all our friends.  At our age we felt that rather than gifts it would be nice to ask party goers to donate to one of two charities of our choice. 

Our lovely nephew Tom is no longer with us, though he is always in our memories and hearts.  Leukaemia and Lymphma Research have a fund Thomas Cartwright Forget Me Not Fund which has been running for more than 7 years now.  We as a family have raised more than £23,000 which enables research to continue into these diseases which affect so many families.
