We fund research into type 1 diabetes to find a cure for type 1 diabetes

Story

My Granddaughter, Gabriella, aged 6, has Type 1 Diabetes so I would like to raise money for children that are going through the same thing she and her family went through.

On Sunday 8 December from 10am I will be doing my Black Belt in Martial Arts. (Not bad for a pensioner!) Please sponsor me and carry on the good work done by JDRF!

During the weeks before the event I am tasked with doing 100 sit ups, 100 press ups and 100 squats daily and swimming, running, walking and cycling as part of my challenge.

On the day as well as performing my techniques, sparring and katas, I will be endeavouring to perform 1,000 punches and 1,000 kicks and a run round the whole of the Anchorians field area. This will take between 4/5 hours.
