I am passionate about the aims and cause of New Hope for Children in their support of Children's Vision Int Inc. I have just spent more than 2 years working with CVII in Bogota, Colombia. My main aim in being there was to help set up a medical unit which is currently completed awaiting registration. Whilst there I witnessed heart breaking poverty and homelessness and the 3 homes at CVII are full to capacity. During the time I was away, my family, friends and church in the North East of England have been raising funds for a much needed fourth home. So far they have raised over 96,000.00. I am joining them in raising the remainder of the funds. As a non runner, this half marathon is a huge personal challenge. Thank you for your support.
