Fundraising for British Heart Foundation
Thank you for supporting my TCS London Marathon journey with the British Heart Foundation.
When my husband Nige died on 11/2/21 he was fit & well & had shown no signs whatsoever of having Ischaemic Heart Disease. Nige & I had been together for 42 years, we had 3 children & 3 Grandchildren aged 5 yrs, 2 yrs, & 3 months old. Since then I now have another Granddaughter now aged 3 months old. My family are completely heartbroken at losing such a wonderful husband, Dad & Grandpa.
I now want to raise funds to help ensure other families are not left as bereft as we are in losing their loved ones so suddenly & unexpectedly. With your donations, the money I raise will contribute to one of the most exciting fields of research - regenerative medicine & fund breakthroughs to find cutting edge new treatments for people living with heart disease.
Ischaemic Heart Disease is the worlds biggest killer & is responsible for 16% of the world’s total deaths. Since 2020 the largest increase in deaths has been for Ischaemic Heart Disease. The race is on to heal hearts together.
Donations to my page will be sent directly to the British Heart Foundation in a fast and secure way.
