26 March 2012 Update.
Well I did it! Hooooorahhhh!
The sun was shining it was unusually hot for March which made it a very hard run. But, I never stopped and I never walked, kept running the whole time. Finished it in 2 hours 16 minutes. Ollie and Eddie were waiting at the finish line too!!
Thank you for all your support everyone.

21 March 2012 Update.
Fame at last! We've made it to page 25 of the Macclesfield Express today. Ollie, Eddie and I ran a steady 2 mile session this morning, so now we're putting our feet up until the big day on Sunday. Thank you for all your support. :))
8th March 2012 Update.
Just over 2 weeks to go, the poodles have been with me every step of every mile whatever the weather. As soon as they see my trainers going on, they're limbering up and ready to go go go! High vis vests on - check, iPod at the ready - check, Runkeeper App enabled - check. Poodle Pom Poms on our heads - check.
Feb 2012 Update.
Well we've trained right through the winter, in the wind, rain, snow and ice, with a sprained ankle and many a virus, but we're not giving up! With less than 4 weeks to go I have now embarked on a very serious phase of training - the no alcohol phase. Surely the worst phase of the training period, on the other hand, carb loading the cake is easing the pain. As for the poodles they're LOVING each and every mile come rain or shine - they don't care!!
Thank you for supporting me, Ollie and Eddie (who by the way are hoping I am going to keep running and sign up for the next race)...sorry boys it's back to the chain in the yard after 25th March.

Hello! Well you've made it, the question is will I?
Knowing people are supporting me and Macmillan, will help me plod on for 13.1 miles in the Wilmslow half marathon on 25 March 2012.
I am training right through the winter with Ollie and Eddie my two poodles and we'll keep you updated on our progress.
Feeling skint? Yes, I am too, but please just a £1 will do...
Thanks very very much.
Christine, Ollie & Ed.
