Hi I got diagnosed with Thyroid Cancer 21/12/12 and 2013 was a year of hospital appointments and Maggie's Newcastle opened it's doors in May that year and it became a sanctuary for me whenever I had to go to the Freeman Hospital there are not the words to describe the support that they have given me.  From dropping in for coffee to the various workshops they run.  It is an amazing place full of inspirational people.  Now I want to give something back so that can carry on  helping others that unfortunately find that the big C comes knocking on their door.

I have been working hard to get fit for the Great North Run in a weeks time, and am nervous and excited that 21 Months since getting the news I had Cancer I will be on the start for the event this year.   I would be grateful for your support in this venture and sponsor me to help a great charity and help me to say thank you for the help they gave me.
