Story
Thank you so much for taking the time to visit our Just Giving page.
Terry and I will be having a party on Saturday 28th January 2012 to celebrate our 60th Birthdays which are both in December 2011.
We would very much appreciate it if a donation to Keech Childrens Hospice could be made in place of a Birthday Gift for us.
Keech holds a very special affection for us. In April this year a very dear little boy, Luis Fernandes spent his last days in Keech Hospice Luton Bedfordshire when he was terminally ill with a Brain Tumour, he was nine. The care that he and his family received from the staff at Keech prior to his death, and after, was just amazing and round the clock. Keech is charity funded and we would like to raise as much as possible to help a wonderful and caring charity.
Jessica, Luis mummy, is a friend. We met when we bothed worked together at the Tudor Surgery. Jessica a nurse, and I a Receptionist. She brought Luis into the Surgery one day and he stayed with us at Reception for a while, colouring in some drawings he had done and sharing our biscuits. He was a very special, brave and wonderful little boy. We would like to dedicate this to him in his memory.
If you feel that you would like to make a donation, it would be very gratefully received and very much appreciated.
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
Thank you so very very much, with love Tina & Terry xxxxxx
