Story
sadly lost her husband to Motor Motor Neurons Disease last weekend and her two young sons lost their Daddy, after 3 hellish years following the diagnosis of this heart wrenching condition.
I met Vikki many years ago working for an Ad Agency, I was struck then of how pretty-god-damn-lovely she was! Years on I've followed her on Faceybook & was devastated to learn that Paul, her lovely husband had been diagnosed with MND.
Years earlier I lost my Uncle to this awful disease & could not begin to imagine the difficult road that lay ahead for Vikki, Paul & their 2 beautiful boys & family.
Vikki started a blog to give the world a window into their life, caring for a loved one with this unforgiving disease. Her writing blew me away every time... her brutal honesty... her ability to have your heart ache & tears roll down your cheeks whilst simultaneously make you laugh out loud with her hilarious humor!
