We inform, educate, inspire, and engage to help young people with epilepsy.

Story

On the 2nd of October I’ll be running the London Marathon to raise money for Young Epilepsy.

I’m raising money for this charity because my niece Evie has epilepsy caused by a rare condition called Sturge-Weber Syndrome. If it wasn’t for the medicines that help control her seizures, she may not be with us today. She has just undergone major surgery that we hope has given her a chance of a life completely free from seizures; possibly without the need for medication too.

I want to support the research that will find new drugs, surgeries and other lifesaving treatments for people with epilepsy. So, if you're feeling generous I would be very grateful for a donation :)

You can find out more about Young Epilepsy by visiting their website here Young Epilepsy | Charity for Children and Young People with Epilepsy and you can find out more about Sturge Weber-Syndrome here Sturge Weber Syndrome Explained

Thank you :)

Young Epilepsy is dedicated to standing up for children and young people with epilepsy. We’re here for them. But we need your support because epilepsy is limiting the chances of thousands of children today and may continue to do so for the rest of their lives. Together we create possible.
