UPDATE - New Fundraiser - Cancelled 10k - Instead planning to 'do' two marathons instead!
I was diagnosed with Type One diabetes nine years ago.
I wanted a way to get fit and running for Diabetes UK seemed a good way to go about that. Sadly, I've recently been diagnosed with knee osteoarthritis - and been told my knees aren't made for running.
So - I've decided to 'do' two marathons in a month.
Here's the parameters I've set myself.
- Reach the length of two marathons - 86km.
- Do this over one month - from May 1 to May 31
- Allowed to either walk outside, or use the X-Trainer, or walk on the running machine in the gym.
- All 'walks' must be recorded on Garmin, or they don't count.
