WE DID IT !!!

It all feels a bit surreal but yesterday we were part of something truly inspirational, over 26.2 miles we experienced a riot of colour, the cheering crowds, beautiful weather and the best of human spirit and endeavour truly humbling...

LONDON MARATHON 2014

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page and thank you from the bottom of my heart to all those who have shown support, encouragement and donated. It really is appreciated, its all about helping people dealing with Cancer and every bit of support will spur me on to that  finish line!!!

I will be taking part in the London Marathon on Sunday 13th April 2014 - needless to say most of the training has taken place throughout the winter and on 26 March I achieved 20 miles out on the road in 3 hours 44 mins. It was tough, so tough and the last long training run. In the  two week run up to the event its time to taper down so a 13 and 10 mile run and shorter training sessions in between is all that's left before the 'Big One'  

This is my first full marathon and probably my last :) my aim - to finish in one piece !

I am running for Cancer Research UK and whatever you can give will be truly appreciated.

I will update the site after marathon day so come back and visit to see how I did.
