As you may know my mum (Samantha Gunn) was diagnosed with Cervical cancer in September of this year, thankfully it was detected early enough to treat and she is now on the road of recovery. I have never been so proud of someone before to go through what she has with a smile on her face, she truly is my idol and inspiration. Therefor I have decided to run the Inverness half marathon on the 9th of  March 2014 to raise awareness of this disease and raise money for CLAN a fantastic cancer support group that also provides accommodation where Daniel McRae ha stayed while over in Scotland.
