Hello, 

My Story

On the 26th March 2012, I witnessed the passing away of my truely inspirational Grandad at Chesterfield Hospital. The cause of his death was known as an aggressive Non-Hodgkin Lymphoma, however at the time of his illness the hospital couldn't identify which type of Lymphoma he had. My grandad had a CT scan and went through two unsuccessful biopsies in a short period of time. Unfortunately, within this time the Lympthoma had spread aggressively around his body which resulted in his death. 

Therefore, the money I funraise will go towards the Macmillan Cancer Support to improve the chances of people suffering from cancer. 

The Task

Jessica Spiby, Dean Horner and myself are planning to complete The Three Peak Challenge of walking three of the biggest mountains in the UK within 24 hours on 31st July. 

These mountains are Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and Snowdon. See pictures for detail. 

All the driving is going to be done by Paul Davies. 

The timeframe is to;

5pm Start at Ben Nevis

10pm Finish Ben Nevis and start to drive to Scafell Pike - 6 hour drive

4am Start walking Scafell Pike

8am Finish Scafell Pike and start to drive to Snowdon - 5 hour drive

1pm Arrive and start climbing Snowdon

5pm Finish Snowdon and completed challenge.
