Story
Adam, Kerry, Lynn & Christie, along with other friends are walking the first 27 miles of Steph’s London to Brighton walk for MNDA, in loving memory of Steph’s Mum Kathy Wiggins who was diagnosed with Motor Neurone Disease last year and is sadly no longer with us.
MND is currently and very sadly a death sentence. One diagnosed most will lose the ability to walk, use their arms and hands, speak, eat and ultimately breathe. Most will become completely paralysed and trapped in their own bodies. Ultimately MND patients will all die of the disease because there are no treatments to help people.
However, research has now reached a point where a cure or life-saving treatments can be found.
This is why it is so crucial to raise as much money as possible and help to fund the cure.
