Annie was my ambassador at RunBrighton and helped me to train for the 2018 Brighton marathon. My first ever! She used to say don’t worry if you can’t continue, just walk with purpose. She really made me believe anything was possible. Annie worked with Sussex Cancer Fund and was inspirational to all who met her. For 40 years the Sussex Cancer Fund has been helping the people of Sussex by providing specialist equipment, additional patient services, refurbishments, and building work as well as funding cancer research projects. We work hand in hand with the NHS to help provide the best possible cancer care for our patients and it is likely that anyone that has received treatment in Sussex will have benefitted from something the Sussex Cancer Fund has provided.
