Christiane had the biggest of hearts but never more than when it came to dogs, especially the long variety. So as a family we have set up a page for those wishing to donate (instead of flowers) a little something to help dogs in need. 

Candy's hound rescue helps save long dogs from China and gives them a better life. Due to Covid-19 travel restrictions, over 200 dogs saved from the meat trade and unethical breeding programmes are still in China, up to 18 months after being rescued. Flights are starting again but costs have rocketed. With so many dogs still in China they need help to bring them home.
