Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

As a young chap, my forte was the 60m. 100m and 200m. In recent times, and 30 years on, I've been partaking in numerous 5k park runs and alike. On 2nd May 2022, I'll be doing my first official 10k run - in the Vitality sponsored 10k event - since Sport Aid 1988. To many, 10k is a mere walk in the park but for a sprinter, it's akin to a marathon!

In view of the dreadful events presently taking place in Ukraine, I thought I would take the opportunity to raise funds to support the Country and its brave citizens in whichever way the DEC feels to be most appropriate.  I am hopeful that the UK Government may match any donation received, based on Boris Johnson's pledge, but I naturally cannot guarantee this.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
