Story
As some of you might know, next Friday (...after work!) I will be attempting to climb Mt Blanc / Monte Bianco - Europe's highest mountain at 4,810m.
After looking through my extensive kit list - the climb doesn't seem quite as straight forward as I had previously thought. The kit includes ice axe, rope harness, ice boots, crampons and my personal favourite an avalanche transceiver and shovel!! Anyway I'm up for the challenge, along with a bunch of equally as insane friends of mine who are all heading to the summit ... and back again I hope!
I've decided to dedicate the climb to my aunt who sadly passed away earlier this year after suffering from lung cancer. Trinity Hospice (www.trinityhospice.org.uk) played a vital part in her care through some very difficult months and without this care many other people who suffer from such cancers would suffer even more. They do such an amazing job in London and rely so much on donations.
So please make a donation, no matter how big or small. It's a fantastic cause and your money will go a long way to help.
Thanks so much,
Christian
