Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

On Saturday, 17 March 2012, Fabrice Muamba suffered a cardiac arrest whilst playing for Bolton Wanderers against Tottenham Hotspur in an FA Cup 6 round match at White Hart Lane.

After receiving lengthy treatment on the pitch, Fabrice was treated at the London Chest Hospital and initially placed in Intensive condition under a ‘critical’ condition. During the cardiac arrest, his heart had stopped beating for 78 minutes

Over the following two months, Fabrice made a remarkable recovery and he was discharged on April 21, having been fitted with an Implantable Cardioverter-defribillator (ICD).

This story was very publicised and from the positives has made people very aware that even the fittest of people/athletes can suffer with Heart problems...

on Sunday the 6th October I will be running a half marathon for the Brittish Heart Foundation, this is a charity That is very close to my 'HEART' as heart disease has affected people very close to me.

So please dig deep and donate now.
