Evie was a a wonderful student at the school where I work, the Royal High School Bath. She was bright and fun, and I think she would have enjoyed seeing her art technician bare his chin for the first time in a decade. 

My fellow colleagues and I, as well as our whole student community were so sad to lose Evie to cancer earlier this year. I want to do something to honour Evie's memory and to support the amazing charity that her parents have set up called 'Evie's Gift'. This charity raises funds to give immediate financial assistance to parents whose children have been admitted to hospital with a life threatening or life limiting condition, and also funds research into the rare brain cancer that took Evie from us too soon.

On Thursday 28th June I will be braving the shave, and having my beard shaved in front of the whole school. I would be so grateful for any donations to support me in this ridiculous adventure.
