The charity is MIND, something that is very close to my heart as I had to grow up with my Dad suffering with severe depression, wondering as a little child why he would lock himself in his bedroom for days on end and wouldn’t see anyone.

I had a massive life changing event when I was 21yrs old when I decided to not want to follow the religion which I been brought up in and because of this I was disowned by family and friends,  I fell into depression and never really talked about it to anyone, only new, close friends ever knew. I wish I’d done more to help myself back then by reaching out to a charity like MIND!
