I'm going to be racing head to head with Jenson Button and up to 500 others as part of the Jenson Button Trust Triathlon on 19th August.

Competitors will each take part in the first 300m swim, 10km bike ride and 2.5k run. The top 50 from each wave will then go into a final, racing the same distances again (an hour later) to see who can take the podium spots in this exciting new triathlon format.

The distances are short, so I am looking to race it as hard and as fast as I can. Jenson is an excellent Triathlete, in fact he has just qualified for the Ironman 70.3 Hawaii World Championships by finishing 14th overall in the Philippines race, beating some Pro's in the process!

It's going to be tough, but I'd like to see how close I can get to him!

Now in it’s third year, The Jenson Button Trust has raised vast sums of money for a number of charities close to Jenson’s heart. This event is another opportunity to raise essential funds for a worthy charity in Help for Heroes.
