Story
In 2020 and 2021, driven by the restrictions of Covid , the traditional city centre carol singing for Christian Aid went online and thanks to many musicians contributing recordings and generous donations, we were able to raise £3000 over 2 years online.
In 2022 in person singing will take place on the Moor on Dec 3rd but we are republishing a selection of carols daily online as they are worth listening to again ! And please donate if you feel moved to help those less fortunate and innocent victims of circumstances beyond their control as described below

Christmas is coming and with it, all the festive traditions we cherish. One of the most-loved traditions we all love is when we sit down to share that special meal with families and friends. That's a tradition we share with families around the world. As one mum in Malawi, Fyness Tembo, says, 'we cook chicken and rice. After eating I feel very happy and satisfied.'But the pleasure of Christmas dinner is something that not all families in Malawi will share this year. Sadly, due to the climate crisis, many families in Malawi are struggling. The climate crisis has left food crops shrivelled by drought or drowned by floods.Your Christmas gift could provide mums like Fyness with training that enables them to grow their own garden, and learn skills that will help them become more resilient to the climate crisis.Give, act and pray with us this Christmas, because without gifts of love, it wouldnt be Christmas.
