We offer expert care, guidance and support to people living with a terminal illness

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our local Fundraising group JustGiving page.

At this time of national emergency, Marie Curie Nurses & frontline staff are needed more than ever as the NHS is put under even greater strain. But our fundraising activities have ground to a halt.

During March and April we would be holding collections at local  supermarkets and other venues for Marie Curie as part of the Great Daffodil Appeal. The collections raise over £2 million across the UK which is desperately needed to enable Marie Curie to provide care and support to people who are terminally ill. This year the collections can’t go ahead due to COVID-19. If you’d have been inclined to pop something in our buckets and tins why not pop something on our JustGiving page? We totally appreciate that a lot of us are facing financial uncertainty but in the words of one place we would usually collect ‘every little helps’.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
