Fundraising for Marie Curie
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGivingpage.
My mother was diagnosed with Ovarian Cancer in 2006. She was extremely brave & underwent every operation & procedure offered to her, in order to help her fight it. Due to the illness my mother became unable to walk & was admitted into the Marie Curie Hospice Hampstead in February 2014. They predicted she would pass in a few days....but they didn't know my mother. She continued to fight infection after infection. She out lived every doctor & medics predictions & kept going, with a smile & with gratitude. She was determined to live!
Months passed, & she deteriorated. On August 13th 2014 my mother took her last breaths on this earth. Words cannot express our loss. She was a loving, beautiful, strong & hard working lady. We learnt so much from her. She has left behind her husband, 4 children, and 2 grandchildren.
During my mothers illness we discovered that shockingly there isn't anywhere that gives terminally ill people the care & support that Marie Curie give. We are ever so grateful & we'd like to raise as much as possible to keep Marie Curie helping others in real need. Marie Curie need £15000 a day to keep giving the care & support that is so vital for patients & their families.
