After a short, but distressing battle with esophageal cancer, the Katharine House Team and Nurses were a beacon of light in our darkest hours. In the last few days of our beautiful Mum's life they cared for her attentively made her comfortable, at peace and ensured she remained at home with her family around her, which is exactly what she wanted.
