Fundraising for Royal Trinity Hospice (London)
My lovely, funny, quirky husband Christopher Stanton tragically died of cancer on 9th March 2020 at the age of 62. For the last three weeks of his life he was cared for at Trinity Hospice, Clapham. Throughout his illness we knew this amazing facility was there if we needed it and, towards the end, we did. Their expertise and kindness meant that Chris ultimately died peacefully.
Now Trinity Hospice itself urgently needs help. A registered charity, it depends on fundraising for 75% of its income and a substantial part of this comes from their charity shops. The coronavirus pandemic has meant these shops have had to close and the hospice is facing a £3 million shortfall over the next three months. Right now they are having to consider drastic cuts to the level of care and support they can provide.
Please would you consider donating some money in Chris's memory to help Trinity Hospice stay afloat so that the wonderful service they offer is there for other patients and their families.
Thank you, Erica x
